I agree about the #1 line reconstruction.

As for the 63rd street connector - it may have been 'according to schedule', but that schedule was ridiculous to begin with. Didn't it take 5+ years?


But in fairness, it should be mentioned the 63rd street connector (the Queens portion that connected the 63rd St tunnel with the Queens Blvd line) and the WTC 1 line reconstruction were done on time and on budget. South Ferry was late, but only 3 months. I think the water leakage that has become evident is a much bigger issue.

I think the problem is more that the initial projections are too optimistic.
